Canberra Region Tourism Awards

The Canberra Region Tourism Awards represent an industry framework for peer recognition which fosters a culture for business development, excellence, and innovation. The Awards have assisted the Canberra Region Tourism Industry for over 30 years in striving for excellence.

The awards are a submission and review-based program and provide the opportunity to publicly acknowledge and showcase the Canberra Region’s best tourism operators as well as promote, encourage and reward tourism excellence. The awards are open to all tourism businesses and suppliers to the tourism industry and serve to demonstrate the value of tourism to the Canberra Region.

Winners of the Canberra Region Tourism Awards are announced at a Gala Ceremony, the most prestigious event on the Canberra Region tourism calendar. Following the Awards, select category winners progress to the Australian Tourism Awards to be judged against other national finalists from each state and territory.
